I've been loving these protein packed pancakes for breakfast to start my morning! These are perfect for those of you who love pancakes but also want to hit your protein goals!
Yield: 1 serving (about 3 pancakes)
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup Pancake mix (regular or the Kodiak brand is really good for some extra protein!)
- 1 scoop Protein powder of choice
- 1 egg (optional)
- 1/3 cup Milk or water
- 2 Tbs Chocolate chips (optional)
Directions
- Combine dry ingredients into one bowl.
- Add the milk/water and an egg (again, optional if you want to add even more protein) and mix until combined (feel free to add more or less milk/water depending on how thick you like your pancakes).
- Heat your pan on Medium-high and pour about 1/4 to 1/3 cup of batter onto the pan.
- Wait for bubbles to form and then you can flip!
- Repeat the last step with all the batter. Add all the toppings you would like and enjoy!
